Our story
It started under the glass
My love of banknotes began with my father. He ran a hypermarket, and people from many countries came through its doors. Customers liked to leave a note from home under the glass top of his counter table, and over the years that glass turned into a small museum of the world's money.
I grew up looking at those notes: the portraits, the fine engraving, the colours, and the stories behind each one. My father taught me how to look at them properly, what makes one special, and how to take care of it.
In 2013 I turned that childhood curiosity into my own collection. Today Banknote Market shares it with collectors everywhere, with every note checked by hand and stored with care.
